In the beginning,. the project only had interest from a private collection, but with the aim that the public had the opportunity to see a variety of wild animals moving and living as if in their natural habitat, Africam Safari was founded in 1972.
By an unfortunate accident Camacho Captain dies in October 1976. However, this did not stop his work continue. With tenacity, courage and bravery, the descendants of the great man, the project continued to love and care for animals.
