The temple and ex-convent of San Miguel Huejotzingo is located in the eastern part of the State of Puebla, taking Federal Highway 150. Just 5 minutes from this town is San Pedro Cholula which has adequate tourist infrastructure for every visitor. The construction of the temple and ex-convent of San Miguel probably began in 1525 and was completed around 1570, by the great master builder dirijida Fray Juan de Alameda.

Description
Today is one of the best preserved architectural Mexico. The yard is large atrial dimensions, has two entrances with wide staircases and cover with two or three nails arcade accesses. At the center is a magnificent stone cross and the four angles, its famous Chapels Posas that features beautiful reliefs Franciscan shields and symbols of the Passion of Christ. Most notable in its main facade is the cover, this is considered as one of the major works in Mexico platerescas. Another area of great interest in the temple is its northern home regarded as unique. Probably was completed in 1550 and boasts lush floral and brushes in decor comparable Portuguese Manueline style. The interior has a single nave covered with Gothic rib vault with beautiful traceries. In the chancel is the famous altarpiece, stew into gold. In compartments staying polychrome sculptures of saints and magnificent scenery paintings with evangelicals.
